I assumed the role of Master Carpenter for this production and the Spring Tree served as a centerpiece for our production of Tuck Everlasting: The Musical. I was charged with constructing a 14 foot tall tree that had to safely hold actors upon it, incorporate a working fountain, and travel smoothly across stage. This unit is the largest thing I have built during my time at Southern Illinois University to date.

Another element that I built for this production was a hand cart. The wheels were cut using a CNC router and then I assembled and distressed the side rails and bed of the cart.
